amazing view from terrace, friendly staff, great location in assisi

unreliable wifi connection

As young holiday goers, we loved the central location and beautiful views from the balcony. The staff were kind and the room was quiet and clean. The breakfast had a fantastic variety of delicious cakes. Wi-Fi was excellent.

Felt very well, no complaints whatsoever.

The grounds were beautiful and it was nice they had parking for the guests.

Bathroom was a little cramped.

The location of this small hotel was excellent being right in the heart of Assisi, although it is a climb up from the main square.The facilities were very good with well equipped comfortable rooms and the bonus of free internet access in the main lobby. The cold buffet breakfast was fine with an impressive selection of teas or coffees to choose from.The breakfast terrace provided a stunning and memorable view of the valley below Assisi and the hills beyond. The tea and coffee facilities were available, free of charge, during the afternoon on the terrace. The hotel provided several guidebooks as well some free bus passes. The hotel is one I will be strongly recommending to anyone going to Assisi.

The only disappointment was that the hotel restaurant was only open for the first night of the stay and then closed for holidays and it was a pity that I was not told about this when booking in.

The restaurant had an extensive wine list and the food was some of the best I've ever tasted. The lounge on the third floor had a beautiful terrace with a panoramic view.

Such a shame that the room was stuffy and poorly maintained.

This hotel is perfectly located right in the centre of town, making it easy to explore the main square and all the attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is great. The rooftop terrace offers stunning views of the surroundings.

The hotel lacks air-conditioning, which can be uncomfortable during hot summer months.

The breakfast with a spectacular view, homemade baked goods, superb views is exceptionally good and delicious for what is offered...

The location was ideal right in the main square and the staff here was wonderfully friendly. And it was also just off amazing restaurants and the centre of the town. I was there for 1 night and ate at family restaurant with nice staff.

The rooms at Hotel La Fortezza are cozy and inviting, with wood floors and a private bathroom with a refreshing shower. As a business traveler, I loved the warm and comfortable atmosphere, which made me feel right at home.

Personally, I found the wood floors a bit hard on my feet, but others might enjoy the natural and rustic ambiance they provide.

A wide selection of delicious restaurants and a lounge with a great view. The food was incredible, some of the best I've ever tasted. Superb quality.

So disappointing that there were so many amazing restaurants nearby, yet I had to eat at the hotel. Such a shame.

Its location is unbeatable and nice - walking distance from Assisi city center. The a double room is compact, we also thoroughly enjoyed GREAT views. The atmosphere of the hotel is quiet.
